Colores
¡Hola! This week we will be learning colors in Spanish. Students will be reading "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Bill Martin Jr. and we will be creating our own versions of the book in Spanish. The students will also play a fun game called "Cuatro Esquinas" or "Four Corners". We have also practiced our colors and numbers by doing a color-by-number activity. A sorting activity, playing "I Spy" with colors, and a song will finish out the week. Encourage your students to practice their Spanish at home. ¡Hasta luego! See you later!

La Primera Semana
We have gone through two weeks of Spanish! ¡Qué bueno! The past two weeks we have been focusing on greetings like "hola" (hello) "buenos días" (good morning) and "buenos tardes (good afternoon), introduction questions such as "Cómo te llamas?" (What is your name?) and "Cómo estás? (How are you?) and learning numbers from 1-20. Students have been learning songs, playing games, and having discussions in Spanish. I have enjoyed getting to know all of the students and I am very excited about the Elementary Spanish Program at Mid-Prairie!
